Sow True Seed 2026 Catalog Cover

The client issued an open call to select their 2026 catalog cover artist, and after two rounds of review, I was chosen by their marketing team. The artwork will be used for the 2026 catalog cover, merchandise, and across social media, website, and marketing materials. The brief called for a garden scene featuring tools, planting supplies, and a table displaying key products such as seed packets and the catalog. I applied my “Off Work” series style—realistic linework paired with my signature color palette—and incorporated graphic-novel–style panels to depict two parallel universes within the same theme.

In this illustration, I wanted to celebrate gardening as a shared, inclusive experience by depicting gardeners of different races, ages, and genders working together in the same space. After researching the client’s products, I highlighted their core focus—flowers, herbs, and vegetables—woven naturally into the scene. The small inset frame illustrates the growth of a seed, echoing the brand’s essence of nurturing, patience, and the quiet transformation from seed to life.
